Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this workshop, participants will experience a \u201cmental transformation\u201d to foster innovative thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through a fieldwork activity on campus, participants will explore how to view the everyday world through a different lens. They will also take part in a dialogue-based art appreciation session featuring artworks by artists with disabilities. Engaging with these unique pieces and responding to a wide range of stimulating questions will lead to deep conversations and new perspectives on the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          FUKUSHIMA Osamu<\/strong>
          Professor Emeritus, Tokyo Polytechnic University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Graphic designer, born in Hiroshima in 1958. After working with the Katsumi Asaba Design Office and ADK, he established Fukushima Design Inc. He explores social innovation and co-founded FukuFuku Plus Inc. in 2018 to support artists with disabilities. As the general producer of the Artpara Fukagawa Festival, he has attracted over 130,000 visitors annually. He has received more than 30 domestic and international awards, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          – Grand Prix at the International Poster Triennial in Toyama (first Japanese recipient)  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          – 1st Prize at the Mexico International Poster Biennial  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          – Gold at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Affiliations include:  Professor Emeritus at Tokyo Polytechnic University, Advisor at Japan Designer Gakuin College, Member of the International Council of Design, and Director at Mirai RITA Foundation, Artpara Fukagawa, and CCF.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

          ISOMURA Ayumu<\/strong>
          Co-Representative, Fukufuku Plus Inc. Co-Representative, Shibuya Font Association<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Graduated from Kanazawa College of Art in 1989 and joined Fujifilm as a designer. His work includes innovation program management in advanced research, usability evaluation methodologies, and establishing HCD (Human-Centered Design) processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          In 2006, he became the Head of Usability Design Group at Fujifilm, promoting key design strategies. After leaving Fujifilm, he studied social inclusion in Denmark and later founded Fukufuku Plus Inc. In 2021, he became the Co-Representative of Shibuya Font and launched the Local Font Initiative in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
