In this semester’s Debate Club,<\/a> we alternate between difficult (yet interesting) topics and easy and fun topics. This was the first session of the “difficult” topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, we debated in Japanese while Marina Wada, a ToTAL student, translated the main points into English. Based on this trial, the TA team is planning to provide another opportunity to debate in both English and Japanese. Please look forward to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second half, we played the Debate Jenga game as an exercise in constructing arguments on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
