A registration ceremony for the new students were held on June 5 at Hisao &amp; Hiroko Taki Plaza, Ookayama Campus.<br><br>Established in April 2018, ToTAL offers a five-year extracurricular program for graduate students. The academy\u2019s mission is to provide leadership excellence education to empower students in the science and technology fields to develop core expertise and the leadership skills to bring out the best in each other and become innovative global citizens in a rapidly-changing era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of the registration ceremony, Tokyo Tech President Kazuya Masu, Tokyo Tech Executive Vice President for Education, Jun-ichi Imura, and Provost and Executive Vice President for Institute Strategy Isao Satoh gave a welcoming speech and congratulated the new students and encouraged them to enjoy the cutting-edge educational program at ToTAL as well as to do their best in their research in order to become a leading person in the field of science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"735\" src=\"https:\/\/www.total.titech.ac.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240602_Registration_Ceremony_President_Masu-1024x735.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13891\" style=\"width:559px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.total.titech.ac.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240602_Registration_Ceremony_President_Masu-1024x735.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.total.titech.ac.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240602_Registration_Ceremony_President_Masu-300x215.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.total.titech.ac.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240602_Registration_Ceremony_President_Masu-768x552.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.total.titech.ac.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240602_Registration_Ceremony_President_Masu-1536x1103.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.total.titech.ac.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240602_Registration_Ceremony_President_Masu.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-small-font-size\">President Kazuya Masu<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-regular-font-size\"><br>Then, Professor Yutaka Akiyama, Director of ToTAL, welcomed the registered students and introduced each faculty member of ToTAL.
