Ryoga Hiroki in ToTAL is crowdfunding an application he is developing, \u201cLabTree – creating a forum for discussion and solving problems in the lab\u201d. Please support the project if you are interested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Outline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In research activities, it is not only inspiration and ability that are important. We believe that \u201cdiscussion\u201d is the key to advancing research.

“Discussion\u201d in research activities is an important part of the process of gaining new perspectives and finding clues to solving problems. However, at universities, the busy schedule of faculty members and the high psychological hurdles for students to ask questions prevent discussion in the laboratory.

We have been pursuing what we call \u201cessential and efficient discussions\u201d by applying our knowledge of communication and organizational theory, which we learned at the Academy for Leadership, in order to achieve a better research environment. To address the challenges in the laboratory, we are developing LabTree, an application that creates a forum for discussion in the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of our project is not to create an application. Our goal is to create a truly meaningful service that goes beyond the boundaries of the laboratory and contributes to academia as a whole by drawing out the possibilities of the \u201cdiscussion space\u201d created by LabTree. We aim to contribute to the development of academia as a whole from the laboratory scale by creating a forum for discussion in laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To promote this activity, we are crowdfunding \u201cLabTree – creating a forum for discussion in laboratories to solve problems”. We are also active as a 22nd student of the Shibuya QWS Challenge, a co-creation center that creates social value from diverse \u201cquestions\u201d, and collaborating with various stakeholders as we move forward.
