The Academy for Leadership (ToTAL) is pleased to welcome Mr. Michael Sera to campus. Mr. Sera established his own consulting firm in California, USA, and is internationally active primarily in the United States and Japan. He will deliver a lecture on Thursday, November 12, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, titled \u201cAre you a Passenger or Driver? -How to Lead a Successful Entrepreneurship Journey-\u201d, and answer questions from participants.

Mr. Michael Sera, who holds a bachelor’s degree in semiconductor engineering and founded his own IT consulting firm in the United States where he has been involved in management for many years, will deliver a lecture in English on the meaning and importance of living with an entrepreneurial mindset\/spirit. We will discuss how to acquire entrepreneurial skills and how to put them into practice in society.

The lecture will be conducted in English, and questions may be asked in Japanese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone in the Science Tokyo community* and members of the general public** may join this event!

About Mr. Michael Sera<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u30fbBorn in Hiroshima Prefecture.
\u30fbBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, San Jose
\u30fbGraduate of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business
\u30fbServed for nearly 20 years as production and marketing manager at semiconductor companies, including Philips Semiconductors (now NXP Semiconductors)
\u30fbFounded his own IT consulting firm, Sera Consulting LLC, in 2004<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He travels between the U.S. and Japan, working tirelessly daily to bridge the technological and cultural gaps between the two nations.
Alongside running his company, he actively engages in various roles: delivering lectures in Japan and the U.S., serving as Board of Director\/Past President of the Japanese American Museum of San Jose in California, and holding positions as Director and Vice Chair of the Community Relations Committee at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California (JCCNC).
