“Lean Launchpad Program (LLP)”, a very practical program for creating and executing new business into the market, will be held in May-Aug 2023. While graduate students may join this program by registering to ToTAL’s course of “(Master’s/Doctoral) Practical Group Work for Leadership”, any Tokyo Tech under-graduate students can join this program as well (No credits will be granted in that case).

All students who are interested in LLP are strongly recommended to join the “Information Exchange & Team Building Meeting” on 24/Apr.

・Attend online: The Zoom link will be informed to online registrants
This pre-program meeting would be worthwhile for all applicants who expect to; brush up their business idea and making a team for Category 1 applicants, and exploring a team to belong in for Category 2 applicants.
<Outline of Lean Launchpad Program (LLP)>
・ToTAL “Lean Launchpad Program” has been designed for Tokyo Tech students based on new business acceleration program initiated by Steve Blank, a serial entrepreneur in Silicon Valley.
・If you are struggling “how you can launch a new business while you have an idea” or “what you have to study and consider for starting a new business”, you will be able to understand the core to materialize a business from the workshop. If you want to create something with cooperation from others or to gain “leadership”, you can expect to develop your capabilities of consensus-building and communication from the workshop.
・If you are interested in “entrepreneur”, you can expect to gain capabilities for starting new business, and if you have already established a company but not have enough market yet, you can utilize this program as an accelerator program.
・Program will be proceeded by team basis. You can apply the program as Category 1(proposing business idea and building 3-5members of team) or Category 2 (joining a team proposing business idea).
・Graduate students can proceed LLP by applying ToTAL courses “Master’s Practical Group Work for Leadership” or “Doctoral Practical Group Work for Leadership”.
・5-7 teams will be capacity for this program. Selection Pitch will be held in the 1st round of the program. All participants are being requested to join all classes.
・This workshop will be facilitated by Mr. Takashi Tsutsumi who has long experience in creating new business and supporting startups. He translated Steve Blank’s books “The Four Steps to the Epiphany” and “The Startup Owner’s Manual” into Japanese.
