At ToTAL, we will hold the “1-day Policy Making Simulation Workshop” in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) again in AY2023. This workshop is held jointly by METI and Tokyo Tech as an opportunity to experience the core process of policy making, understand the roles and work of METI, cultivate a “bird’s eye view” which is one of the key elements of leadership, and experience diversity.

This workshop is also open to students from outside of Tokyo Tech, as participants are also recruited through METI’s recruitment website. Those who are considering employment with the Ministry or other government agencies are encouraged to attend, regardless of whether they are undergraduate or graduate students.

Since this workshop is a workshop of ToTAL’s course of “Recognition of Social Issues B/D”, students enrolled in the course will be given priority. It is also designated as one of “events” by “Cross the border! Tokyo-Tech pioneering doctoral research project”.

We look forward to many applications from students interested in METI’s policies and roles.
