Yokohama_comic

Through practical training of the creation of a 4-panel comic, participants will learn the important points in creating an appealing story structure using “Beginning, Development, Turn, and Conclusion” (A Chinese story structuring technique). Anyone can learn from this workshop, whether you are not good at drawing or good at it. It is designed to help participants visually express logic and can be useful when they create presentation materials.

This workshop will be conducted in a group with students from Yokohama Specialized Training School of Arts.

This workshop can be counted as part of the graduate courses ‘Fundamental Group Work for Leadership I/II’ and ‘Master’s/Doctoral Essential Group Work for Leadership.’ If you are interested in enrolling in these courses, please attend the course orientation first.

Manga artist

While attending the “Nihon Manga Juku” (Japan Manga School), he was assigned an editor through the school’s editorial review panel, leading to the serialization of ‘Let’s Play Baseball!’ in Akita Shoten’s Monthly Champion. The series, along with its sequel ‘Let’s Play Baseball More!’, spanned 25 volumes over a long-running serialization. He later serialized ‘Subten!’ with Shogakukan. Currently, alongside his work in manga creation, he also teaches manga at the “Nihon Manga Juku” and Yokohama Specialized Training School of Arts.
