Outline

Over a period of approximately two months from the end of May in 1-2Q, AY 2025, we will be holding a business creation workshop called “Lean Launchpad Program (LLP)”, in which participants will work in teams to verify the marketability of their own business ideas, with a goal of creating a business plan that has a high probability of being realized in society.

●At our university, we consider the mindset, skills, and behavioral system for developing and establishing new value as “leadership” and “entrepreneurship.” These mindsets and skills (and behaviors) are diverse, including ideas (proposals), issue identification, verifying hypotheses, empathy, sharing ideals and goals, and logical reasoning. In the real world, it is necessary to utilize these mindset and skills in a comprehensive manner. In this program, you will put these mindsets and skills (and behaviors) into practice and test the feasibility and marketability of your own ideas.

● If the marketability of your business idea is attractive, you can go further, but if it does not meet your expectations, you can use the experience and practice you have gained up to that point as a starting point to think of other ideas. Regardless of whether your activities are successful or not, it will be an opportunity for those who are interested in going into the world of business in the future, including becoming an “entrepreneur,” to understand the essence of business. For those who are considering a future in research, it will be an opportunity to try out their own “leadership” or “entrepreneurship” in practice, which is necessary in the field of research.

●All students at our university, including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students, can participate in this program by taking the following courses.
・For Bachelor students: ENT.V205 Bachelor’s Practical Group Work for Value Creation (0-2-0)
・For Master students: TAL.W504-01 Master’s Practical Group Work for Leadership I S (0-2-0, GA0M/GA1M)
