At Academy for Leadership (ToTAL), we have welcomed 35 new graduate students as the 8th cohort of June 2025 to the program. A registration ceremony for the new students was held on June 3 at Hisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza, Ookayama Campus. This is the last students to register in ToTAL, as the application for the program has ended this spring.
Established in April 2018, ToTAL offers a five-year extracurricular program for graduate students. The academy’s mission is to provide leadership excellence education to empower students in the science and technology fields to develop core expertise and the leadership skills to bring out the best in each other and become innovative global citizens in a rapidly-changing era.
At the beginning of the registration ceremony, Executive Vice President for Education, Noriyuki Wakabayashi and Executive Vice President for Institute Strategy Jun-ichi Imura gave a welcoming speech and congratulated the new students. After that, Professor Yutaka Akiyama, Director of ToTAL, welcomed the registered students and introduced each faculty member of ToTAL. Then, a registration certificate was handed to each student by Executive Vice President Wakabayashi and commemorative photos were taken at the end.
