This course is one of the full-fledged entrepreneurship courses that will begin this academic year. Understanding and demonstrating “entrepreneurship” is essential whether you are pursuing a career in research or in business. For many of you, the world of startups may not necessarily be a familiar one. However, there is no doubt that even if you are not thinking of starting a business, you should understand it as one of the options in your life. Through this course, you will certainly broaden your horizons and realize that “this kind of world and its possibilities exist!” The contents, lecturers, and participation methods of this program are all “groundbreaking”.

A groundbreaking entrepreneurship course:

This full-scale entrepreneurship training course is groundbreaking in the following ways:

  • The content of this course will be produced and lectured by DNX Ventures, a world-class venture capital firm based in both Japan and the United States.
  • Several entrepreneurs who are managing startups on track will also be invited to speak to you about their experiences.
  • The course is full of vivid information from the daily work of venture capitalists who invest in and develop new businesses and companies, and entrepreneurs who create businesses.
  • Rather than simply listening to a lecture, you can have direct discussions with the lecturers and guests (entrepreneurs), expand your network, and use it as an opportunity to think about your own entrepreneurship.
  • It is not just a matter of whether you are interested in starting a business or not, but it will help you understand the cutting-edge trends in society and broaden your options.
  • Regardless of field of study and grade levels, any Science Tokyo students can join this program. Undergraduate students can take this course as the 200-level “Bachelor’s Fundamental Group Work for Value Creation B” and graduate students can take this course as the 500-level “Professionals and Value Creation B/D.”
It is possible to participate in the program without registering for a course, but priority will naturally be given to those who register.
  • You will be able to understand, in a practical and concrete way, what the goal of our entrepreneurship education, which is to develop the ability and courage to “develop and create new value,” means to you personally.
