In this lecture, we will examine the current state of AI adoption, particularly among Japanese companies, from both macro and micro perspectives: the macro view, which considers industrial structures and institutional environments, and the micro view, which focuses on day-to-day operations and organizational management. Additionally, drawing on my experience as a management consultant supporting DX and AI initiatives at a major corporation, I will present several examples and simple case studies to highlight key issues and challenges companies face when promoting AI adoption.
