Join the “OPEN FORUM”!!!
(Every Friday in 3Q and every Wednesday in 4Q at lunch 12:40-13:40)

Open Forum will restart in the fall semester!

Open Forum is a casual opportunity to come together and discuss issues that matter to us basically in English.
A student or other member of the community speaks for about 8-10 minutes on any topic of their choice. After the presentation, participants ask questions and discuss the focus for the day.

Anyone in the Tokyo Tech community can either participate face-to-face basically at Taki Plaza B2F, Ookayama Campus, or online on Zoom, on Fridays from 12:40PM to 1:40PM in 3Q and on Wednesdays from 12:40PM to 1:40PM in 4Q.
It is basically held in English, but Japanese and international students who are not fluent in English are welcome to join! Faculty members and TAs will support those students throught the event.

In the past, students have spoken about their research, social issues such as women in engineering, water shortages throughout the world, philosophy, new technology, etc. An abbreviated version of a presentation already given in class is perfectly fine!

Depending on the day, we will hold “process group” talks where participants and faculty members have free conversations about anything they want to share with each other.

Please note that we are asking the presenters to indicate whether they would allow their presentation to be recorded for limited distribution among closed members of the ToTAL community.

All members of the Tokyo Tech community are welcome to join!
No registration needed to join in person.
If joining on Zoom, the link for the meeting will be sent to you after entering a few information.
