ToTAL is the only educational program that you can register for during your master’s degree alone. Even if you are not sure whether to pursue a doctoral degree, or even if you have already decided to finish with a master’s degree, you can challenge yourself in various areas if you have even the slightest interest in something other than research.
The things I worked on in ToTAL classes (self-analysis & group discussions) were directly related to my job hunting, and my experience as a TA was very useful in the so-called ‘Gakuchika’.
