At the host institution, I belonged to the project for improving the food environment through industry-academia-government collaboration, where we analyzed various data on the current salt intake of the Japanese population. It was a valuable opportunity for me to step into the field of nutritional science, which I had longed for, and to participate in a comprehensive project from research to social implementation.
