Teams including four ToTAL students, Tetsuhiro Nakashima (5th cohort), Motoki Moritani (4th cohort), Woratat Leelaworaset (6th cohort) and Mohamed Mahmoud Ahmed (6th cohort) were awarded at The 3rd Engineering School Sustainability Challenge for the excellence of the business plans their teams presented.

■The 3rd School of Engineering E×S Award:
 ・Members: Tokyo Tech and National Taiwan University students, including Mohamed Mahmoud Ahmed of ToTAL
 ・Business plan topic: Use of thin films made from waste tires and solar energy to solve problems related to water (cooling water, ultrapure water) and electricity use in the semiconductor industry

■PITCH Founders Award and Micron LAUNCH Award:
 ・Members: Tokyo Tech and National Taiwan University students, including Tetsuhiro Nakashima, Motoki Moritani and Woratat Leelaworaset of ToTAL
 ・Business plan topic: Self-driving robot and household trash collection project(Use of drones to create a more efficient garbage collection system, which included garbage disposal for people with limited mobility and management of garbage collection points.) *

*This project theme was based on their team’s work in the Lean Launchpad course offered by ToTAL in the first semester of 2023.
