I think the curriculum of ToTAL was very effective for improving my soft skills such as public speaking, formal presentation, event facilitation and others. Personally, I feel I have grown the most in public speaking and facilitation which helped me in my research presentations and job interviews.

For example, I used to practice many times before my conference presentations to get rid of the nervousness. Now, my feeling towards such presentations has changed completely. I practice before the conference not because I feel nervous, but to confirm that I can finish my talk within the given time.

During my PhD studies, I had to make many, many presentations about my research and this confidence about my presentation skills made all of it quite easy.
