Working as a TA has several advantages:
Practice and improve communication skills: Interact with participants and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Working as a TA allowed me to practice speaking in front of people so I feel less worried when presenting at a conference.
- Networking opportunities: Help build connections outside of laboratories. Graduate life becomes more joyful.
- Enhanced understanding of leadership: Working as a TA in a “book dialogue” workshop allowed me to read books and join fruitful discussions with other participants. From that, I learned many lessons from different perspectives.
（Staff comment）Le has been working as a TA in many of our workshops. As our faculty navigate the challenges of online and hybrid instruction during the pandemic, Le has consistently offered insightful ideas that provide breakthrough solutions whenever we seek advice.
