You will have the opportunity to participate in various workshops and learn more by working as a Teaching Assistant.

At ToTAL, you will have the opportunity to participate in various workshops and may work as a TA. As a TA, you will not only assist in classes, but also moderate and facilitate workshops and student conferences.

Most importantly, being a TA provides an environment where you can use English as much or as little as you want, without any pressure or language barriers.

Through these experiences, you can find what you want to do and challenge yourself. The best part about being a TA at ToTAL is the connections you make with classmates and seniors from different majors.

As someone pursuing a doctoral program, I found it particularly reassuring to have close relationships with seniors who could offer guidance not only on ToTAL classes, but also on scholarships and studying abroad.

(Staff comment)Tasuku takes on the role of facilitator for some workshops in ToTAL. His well-designed facilitation is excellent so that participants do not feel lost. Thanks to his carefully designed process, even those who normally feel uncomfortable in a group are able to talk to many people without feeling intimidated. Both Japanese and international students rely on him.
